Planting Trees at Snape Wood Primary School

Planting Trees at Snape Wood Primary School

Our team went on an unforgettable adventure at Snape Wood Primary School, where we rolled up our sleeves and got down to some serious tree-planting business! Invited by one of our amazing followers, we couldn't resist the chance to dive into nature with a bunch of enthusiastic young eco-warriors. The morning was  filled with laughter, learning, and plenty of muddy boots!

As we rocked up to Snape Wood Primary School armed with our raincoats, wellies, and of course, plenty of sweets to keep the energy levels up, we were greeted by a sea of smiling faces. Splitting into teams spanning different age groups, we were ready to tackle the task at hand: planting trees like pros!

From adding fertilizers to the holes, carefully extracting the trees from their plastic pots, and nestling them into their new homes, we showed the kids the ropes of tree-planting. The real stars of the show were the worms and insects wriggling around! The kids were fascinated by these. We planted a delightful mixture of cherry, pear, and Bramley apple trees, ensuring each one was snug and stable in its new home.

It was an absolute pleasure to spend a morning planting trees at Snape Wood Primary School. Not only will these trees benefit the environment, but they will also serve as an enjoyable learning environment for the children. Watching their trees grow and learning about the positives of having trees nearby will be an enriching experience for them. We hope this inspires you to get involved in your local community or help the environment in any way possible! Remember, it's not just good for the planet; it's good for you too!
